When I left for Dehradun and had to stay there for more than a week, I had fair amount of doubts in my mind about which place to make my temporary home. So i looked up, and found this beautiful place called RIVERSIDE HOMES, nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city, beside the Tons River. The moment I saw the place my heart jumped up in happiness for I had actually found a home!!! The picturesque background, the scenic views and on top of that such hospitabality and kind gesture from the owner Capt. Avinash Sir, it all added up to a pleasant and wonderful stay!!!
Whenever in Doon, I will make sure that I go back again to this amazing home stay, for I can say with confidence it is one of the coziest, warmest, serene places one can stumble across!!!

Came across this property on Google & since Riverside Homes seemed to be decent, decided to spend my holidays with family there. Reaching there was easy & the decision turned out to be too good. The ambience of the place was phenomenal, with river flowing just next to it. The plusses of the place were, excellent food, outstanding hospitality, sparkling cleanliness, polite staff, huge terrace sit out, beautiful landscaping & interior decoration, luxurious rooms, decent washrooms, great view, security ( the property owner being ex Defence personnel), magnificent lobby & dining place, exquisite plants, clean linen and above all positive vibes. We thoroughly enjoyed over there and strongly recommend Riverside Homes.

I got intouch with Riverside homes by chance or I must say by luck. I booked this hotel in the very last minute, planning to stay just for a day and as it turned out, I spent my entire trip there. Starting from the ambience, maintenance, to food everything was great. I would like to highlight their reception, their customers are received with a polite and a cheerful face every morning. As the name suggests it is genuinely an other home.
The prices are very reasonable and Capt Avinash (the owner of the property) is very kind. They walk that extra mile to keep their customers happy, which honestly is very satisfying.
I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dehradun.

We stayed at this hotel for six days during my wedding, along with my international guests, and the entire experience was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality and warmth of the staff made a huge difference.
A special mention goes to Rohit, who went above and beyond every single day—always polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. The meals he served were excellent, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. My guests, who came from abroad, were extremely happy with both the food and the comfort of the stay. They were well looked after, entertained, and felt completely at home.
The management team, including the owner and his family, deserve appreciation for maintaining such high standards of hospitality. Everything—from the cleanliness of the rooms to the overall atmosphere—was perfect for a memorable wedding week.

RIVERSIDE HOMES, you are a beauty, hidden away like a gem, one can find! I had the best of the times, and a long stay for a couple of weeks there, without even realising for a second that I was far from home. The calm aura of this place can soothe your mind at any point of the time, the scenic view of the jungle, the river and the mountains are amazing!
I had my NEW YEAR eve there, and Capt. Avinash Sir is the most humble and hospitable host. I never thought that my stay was gonna be filled with so many memories and bonfire nights!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at River Side Homestay, and I must say, it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, with all the essential amenities provided for a comfortable stay.
But what really made the stay exceptional was the hospitality and service provided by the caretaker, Mr. Rohit Kumar. From the moment we arrived, Rohit was incredibly welcoming, polite, and attentive to every need. He ensured that our stay was smooth and hassle-free, always ready to help with a smile.

I am a regular visitor to this place and have always enjoyed the excellent service and comfortable stay. During my previous visit, I encountered an issue with the pet dogs. Although no harm was done, the situation was concerning at the time. However, I am pleased to report that during my most recent stay, the issue had been resolved, and the overall experience was much improved. I appreciate the effort made to address the concern and look forward to future visits.

After 15 years we made a program to go to college alumni meet with friends but dilemma was how to stay together where 16-18 people can have full enjoyment so I chose river side home stay and found that these two days of our stay, we collected memories which we will not be able to forget for the whole life, even at 2 pm at night we got fresh food which is not possible even in a 5 star hotel.

Visited with friends and family for a short vacation for 2 nights. Excellent location by the River side with options to trek. Warm hosting & courtesy by the host Capt. AVINASH who made it feel like home with arrangements like BBQ on rooftop. Ample parking space, neat and clean rooms, spacious common area. Great stay. Highly recommended 👍

Its was worth every penny regarding food ,ambience ,cleanness .The staff is so cooperative that tries to fullfill all short of demands regarding food or any other thing that is under their discretion. Its is very much like feel at home. The location is perfect I can enjoy the remoteness within the city.

Stayed here as a solo traveler as my sister lives just 1km from this place. So though it is a bit far from main city, this was not an issue for me. The place is amazing and appropriate for the price. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I would love to stay here in the future if I travel to this place. 10/10 from my side.

The owner of this property is a gentleman. The room service is excellent and the staff takes care of all your issues, if any at first place. The view from the property is picturesque with Musoorie visible and forests across the river. This has to be the best oyo I have ever been to and its reasonably priced.
